McKay Daines is set to direct from a script he co-wrote with OutEast's Courtney Hazlett.
Television production company OutEast Entertainment (Netlfix's Restaurants on the Edge) has set its first feature with drama Faith, Hope & Charity.
The movie tells the story of a young woman, whose DNA test leads her to the truth about her family and their relationship to those that protected the island of Malta during World War II. The film, which will feature historical flashbacks, is set to begin production in Malta in spring 2021.
McKay Daines is set to direct from a script he co-wrote with OutEast's Courtney Hazlett.
Hazlett and Steven Marrs will executive produce for OutEast, along with Daines. Berkeley Media Group’s Yu-Fai Suen will produce.
OutEast, which has plans for an expansive film slate, is currently producing the ABC medical drama Triage, directed by Jon M. Chu.
