Local TV Channel Takes Home the "Tellys"

Fairfax Public Access, Channel 10, has won Telly Awards for two of its community outreach program[sic], "10 at 12" and "Nashville Connection."

"10 at 12" is a magazine-style program produced by Joan Betros. The show, aired live every Wednesday at noon, features many nonprofit organizations and small businesses of Fairfax County.

"Nashville Connection," produced by Joan Betros and directed by McKay Daines, was geared to the needs of the region's singers and songwriters. A recording artists and songwriter[sic] from Nashville came to the Channel 10 studios and held singer/songwriter workshops for a live studio audience and the Fairfax County viewing public.

The Telly Award was founded to showcase outstanding non-networks and cable TV programming.
